This award comprises of three units, all units must be achieved for full certification
- Unit 1: The role of macronutrients in the diet
- Unit 2: Guidelines for healthy eating
- Unit 3: The basic principles of weight management

Candidates who hold CYQ's Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing � Gym or Exercise to Music or equivalent, and wish to develop their knowledge, skills and competence to instruct an alternative discipline.
Individuals who wish to change careers and seek a highly recognised and respected qualification.
Exercise and Fitness enthusiasts who wish to become Studio Resistance Training Instructors.
Individuals (16+) wishing to gain a Level 2 Vocational Qualification as a Studio Resistance Training Instructor.
Individuals currently working as Fitness Instructors who have few or no relevant qualifications.
